Meet the team

Mark Munro joined the Scottish National Investment Bank in early August 2021 as Executive Director for the Net Zero Mission.

Mark has nearly 20 years banking experience across credit risk & reporting, business banking, project management and energy finance. Following a 12 month internship at Deutsche Bank, Mark joined Bank of Scotland, laterally Lloyds Bank, as a graduate trainee. For the past 15 years Mark has specialised in energy finance, primarily to independent oil & gas companies in the North Sea with Lloyds Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and most recently with DNB Bank. Mark spent 2012-13 in Houston, Texas focused on US energy clients.
