Stage 1: Apply Online
We advertise our roles across a variety of job boards and partnership organisations to ensure our hiring process is as inclusive as possible.  All applications are handled by our recruitment partner.

Stage 2: Screening
There may be a follow-up call with our recruitment partner or they may request further information.

Stage 3: Panel Interviews
We view interviews as a two-way conversation, where we get to know you and your experience, and you get to hear all about the role and life at the Bank. We have a two-stage interview process. You will meet at least three of the Bank team should you be invited to the final stage.

Stage 4: Assessments
You may be invited to complete an assessment – this is designed to allow you to show us what you are capable of.

Stage 5: Onboarding and Pre-employment Checks
If successful, you will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a basic Disclosure Scotland certificate, right to work checks and an adverse financial check, all of which are administered by Experian on behalf of the Bank.

Stage 6: Adjustments

If you need any adjustments to support your application, such as information in alternative formats or special requirements to access our buildings, or if you’re eligible under The Disability Confident Scheme, please reach out to us.  Our commitment is to provide the support you need to participate fully in our recruitment process.
